Trip to Sheffield

Things are going well with Flux Vortex, we should be making a trip to Sheffield soon for a Versus night with one of the local trance/hardstyle nights. Looking forward to this.

On another note, not long now. Anyone who is in the cyber/industrial scene will know of the festival Resistanz. The last few years have been amazing and its a relatively new festival. I see good things coming from them. So we are going there again this year, outfits are almost sorted. So I'm getting quite excited.

I'm loving the line-up. A great mix of synthpop, electronic and noize/aggrotech.
Worth it to see Noisuf-x again ^^

If you haven't heard of the festival then check it out!

This years bands include;
Noisuf-X
Neuroticfish
C-Lekktor
Alter der Ruine
 iVardensphere
Alien Vampires
Cygnosic
Seabound

and other impressive bands.

Entering the ... Flux Vortex

It's been a while, time to dust the cobwebs off this blog. New night, here in Birmingham. Especially for those that love cyber, trance, raves and all things glowy and dancy.

It's not an 'industrial' night... but instead a place honouring 25 years + of hard dance music. Including but not limited to; Trance, Hardcore, Hardstyle, electronica and techno.

Found the first friday of the month at Eddies in Birmingham. Hosted by TK and co hosted by myself

Odyssey

Another night for your calendars folks. Ebm, trance, hardcore, hard style, electro  and all things bouncy and stompy. To take place on the 10th August and Eddies in Birmingham. Its a one off night with a prospect for more in the future. 5 DJ's all turning out fun tunes ranging from the well known to the obscure.  Why not pop down and see what all the fuss is about. Great for Cybers, gravers and ravers alike. Get your stomp on!

Date change

Previously I sated that I was DJing the goth set at Dystopia in June, this has been changed now to the May dystopia. Which works out fine as I have that hole weekend free anyway (except the Saturday evening) where I will be present at the goth ball. I have missed that place quite a lot.

Twisted will be restarting again soon which is good if I didn't mention it befor I have now.
So see you all in May

Return to work

Of late I have been busy, sorting out new venues etc for twisted, I uni, work, the usual but I have not vanished and did not surcombe to complete idolness whilst Internet went down. Proceeding my break I have undertaken seeking out new haunting grounds on which to DJ, and I have found several. More details of each to follow but initially and for this post I shall announce that I will be DJing the goth/post-punk/batcave/dark wave/80's set for Dystopia in June which should be fun and gives me a chance to teach my better half the ropes as he wants to start DJing.
So yea, I think you should be there
